Vegan S'mores?? To die for!!!

I had to sit down and write this post before anything else got in the way. First, let me start off with a disclaimer – this recipe IN NO WAY is a healthy recipe!!! Yes, it is vegan and yes it is gluten free – two very good things, BUT it is deadly delicious and full of sugar, so if you are watching your glycemic index, this is NOT for you.

However, if you are like me and like to treat yourself once a week, one serving of this should count for about two week’s worth of treats lol!!

All that being said, this is a really kickass recipe. I liked making my own fluff (who would have thought that chickpea brine could be so wonderful!?!?), which was an amazing experience and surprisingly VERY EASY to do (thank you Seitan Is My Motor! - this is one of  my new favorite blogs - more on that later), and the chocolate sauce is to die for.

 

 

 

The waffles on their own taste almost like gingerbread and combined with the fluff and the chocolate sauce – PERFECTION! You do not need to use two waffles, that was just too much and I felt like a stuffed sausage after eating one with two waffles.
